Pamela Santamaria, MD founded Neurology Consultants of Nebraska on 7/18/2005. She grew up and graduated from Ralston, NE in 1989.
Dr. Santamaria completed a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and minor in Biology with honors in 1993 at the University of Iowa. She completed medical school with her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1998 at the University of Iowa. She then moved to Salt Lake City and completed her medical internship and neurology residency training at the University of Utah in 2002.
She has been in multiple clinical research trials involving Parkinsons disease, Multiple sclerosis, dementia and restless leg syndrome.
She sees all neurological conditions age 12 and above. She injects Botox for spasticity, dystonia and Migraines. She performs diagnostic EMG/NCS studies. She manages and programs VNS and DBS for epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor.
She is married and has four boys. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, boating, walking, biking and pottery.
